DJ POWER RELEASES EDM-DANCEHALL TRACK “MAKEUP” WITH REGGAE SUPERSTAR VYBZ KARTEL, GETS SHOUTOUT IN DRAKE BIOGRAPHY
Dj Power has released an exclusive track with imprisoned Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel (“Clarkes”, “Pon de Floor”-Major Lazer). The track recorded a few weeks prior to his arrest is titled “Makeup” and is an upbeat catchy ballad fusing dancehall, house and soul elements and produced by Badnuz.

The track follows Dj Power’s summer smash “Fly So High” with Machel Montano and Kardinal Offishall (VIDEO) which received extensive radio and club play as well as being added to Mtv, VH1, and many stations worldwide.
“Glad we were able to finish this one and the world can hear it…Free Kartel”, states Power. The 2 previously collaborated on a few mix cd projects including Kartel’s famed 2006 “Return of the Crime Minister” cd featured in the NY Times.
